Wellness Apps that Work

“During the age of "self quarantine" it takes even more inner strength to pull ourselves away from our screen, and stop the endless scroll.”

Alexa Eden - Urban Wellness Consultant

Here are the apps I use to help me get active, stay grounded, and be peaceful.

@lilspace - A timer that tracks your minutes spent off screen. I use this app when I know I am wanting to unplug, and do focussed work. It tracks my time spent off screen, and gets my closer to earning in-app rewards and downloads. Great place to start if you're looking to step away and #signoffscreen

@HappyNotPerfect - A happiness training app that uses cognitive behavior techniques, to help you train your happy. I love this app because it prompts me with reflections and journaling.

@TenPercentHappier - As a meditator, I've tried a lot of apps. I don't always want to "be calm" or "get zen," instead, I use this app to lay the foundation for my mindset and my inner world. The meditations are less woo-woo then most, and equip me with practical tools and techniques to walk through life like a boss.

@Apptiv - Getting motivated without a gym membership has been challenging for me. I've used aaptiv for over two years now, it's perfect for at home workouts, sweat sessions during travel, and honestly, perfect for when I don't want think about "what to do next."

@Endel - “A personalized soundscape” synced to your rhythm, and tailored to your needs. Endel is the perfect sidekick for integrating the science of sound in to your lifestyle.

Within each app, there are settings/reminders and push notifications you can set to remind you when it’s time to #strikeabalance and tune in to your practice of choice.

For me, I’ve scheduled the apps to alert me between 7-10 am each morning. Not every day is perfect, but I know I'm on fire 🔥when my schedule matches up with the reminder.

If you'd like to join my team on any of these apps, please search EDEN20 on the apps above, and let's #strikeabalance together this quarantine season.
