AI is Only Beginning
A few years ago, if anyone were to tell me that my passion for AI and technology would turn in to a consulting career humane technology practices… well, I’d impressed, and also shocked.
Years ago, as I began this journey of speaking more and more about the future of technology, AI, social meia, and the human psyche, I got push back, with many mind who were unsure on how to wrap their understanding around what was to come.
However, as I, along with several other visionaries, anticipated, AI would enter the market, and would take the naysayers by storm. Enter 2023, and here we were, cued up and ready to go.
“How should we be considering the using of AI in the workplace? At home? In our personal lives? What can we do to protect ourselves, our privacy, and our minds? Will it take our jobs? What industries will be most affected?”
Excellent questions.
Questions that, for some reason, had been introduced to me so many years ago, that I had been spending time researching, navigating, and philosophizing about prior to AI’s big debut.
In the spring of 2023, I was invited to be a guest speaker at a global gathering of young professionals discussing the introduction of an AI-powered dating solution, that will soon take the swipe out of digital dating.
The future is uncertain with AI. It’s autonomous intelligence will absolutely take on new shapes and forms, and will challenge the way all human beings live their life. That we know. However, what we also know, is that there are innate human intelligences that no form, or robot can ever assume, tackle or achieve. And that is the work of the future.
Instead of feverishly asking, how will AI impact our lives and our jobs, we might also want to ask ourselves, how can we utilize our deepest human skills and intelligence to pioneer a future for all - including AI.
More on this soon. 2024 will be a year of bright revelations.
