Let's Talk: Facebook Metaverse

What are your thoughts on the #metaverse by Facebook?

It's been a few weeks since Facebook rebranded, and painted the vision of what the Metaverse can do for our digital/and social connections.

As the dust settles, and our attention scatters after the announcement, I want to know...

-> Have your thoughts on how you interact with social and digital media evolved?
-> Have you come to witness or awaken to the true direction that our digital world is taking?

I happened to pull up the Metaverse keynote today, and I am both in awe-shock and excitement, as we breach new territory.

The #future has been and continues to be, unraveling before our very eyes. And while many of us may work in industries that are carrying this future forth, we each have a personal responsibility to decide how we want to interact with, engage with, and share this new future.

Someone asked me a great question recently, "But Alexa, how do you balance your time on tech?" I chuckled, lovingly, and responded optimistically, "Turn it off."

WE forget how simple it is.

The power button. The more we exercise our power button, the more space we give ourselves to be human, without our tech. This increased human-ness allows us to make conscious choices, that put us back in control of our devices, instead of the other way around.

-> When was the last time you turned off your device?

My friends, the future is coming, whether we like it or not.
How we choose to prepare for this future is up to us.
